Everyone should feel safe at home, on our streets, and in public spaces.

I will:

• Advocate for hiring 1,000 additional Toronto police officers, supported by a phased recruitment, training, and funding plan.
• Work with police leadership to seek more visible neighbourhood patrols and stronger responses to auto theft, break-ins, violence, and repeat criminal activity.
• Establish a regular community safety meeting with 32 Division, residents, and local businesses to identify problems and track follow-up.
• Push for better lighting and safety improvements around Yonge–Sheppard, Yonge–Finch, parks, and transit entrances.

Public safety funding must produce measurable improvements in service and community confidence.
